What is Darvin Neox 1?+
Darvin Neox 1 is our proprietary GRU-64 neural network model. Each creature in a simulation has its own brain with 48 sensory inputs and 24 motor outputs. No behavior is pre-programmed — everything emerges through evolution and learning.
How does the simulation run?+
Each simulation runs continuously on our servers. Creatures are born, learn, reproduce, and die. Their DNA mutates across generations. You observe and analyze the emergent behaviors — communication, aggression, cooperation — as they arise naturally.
Can I use the API for my game or product?+
Yes, with the Institute plan or above. The API gives you access to create simulations, read creature data, and integrate emergent AI behaviors into any application — games, robotics, research tools, or art installations.
What's the difference between a preset and a custom simulation?+
Presets have fixed parameters (population size, world size, mutation rate). Custom simulations let you control everything: terrain, food distribution, creature DNA, evolutionary pressure, and more.
Is my simulation data private?+
Yes. Your simulations and exported data are private to your account. Only Abiogenic's curated simulations (like Darvin Neox v1) are public.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. All plans are month-to-month with no lock-in. Annual plans are prepaid with a 20% discount but can be cancelled — you keep access until the period ends.
What compute resources does each simulation use?+
A typical simulation with 500 creatures runs at ~30ms per tick. Institute and Enterprise plans get elevated compute for larger populations (up to 10,000+ creatures) and faster tick rates.
